This Privacy Policy describes how Story.tv ("we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and protects your personal information when you use our mobile application ("App"). By using the App, you consent to the data practices described in this policy.

We collect the following types of information: Account Information: • Email address (when you create an account) • Name (optional, if provided) • Authentication tokens from third-party sign-in providers (Google) Usage Data: • Instagram usernames you search for • Profiles you monitor • Features you use and frequency of use • App interaction data (screens viewed, buttons tapped) Device Information: • Device type and operating system • App version • General location (country level, derived from IP address) • Push notification tokens (if you enable notifications) Purchase Information: • Subscription plan and status • Transaction IDs from Apple App Store or Google Play Store • We do NOT store your payment card details — all payments are processed by Apple or Google.

We use the collected information to: • Provide and maintain the App's functionality • Process and manage your subscription • Send push notifications for story and follow activity (if enabled) • Improve the App and develop new features • Monitor usage for abuse prevention and security • Communicate with you about your account or service updates • Comply with legal obligations

We do not sell your personal information. We may share data with: • Apple / Google: For processing in-app purchases and managing subscriptions. • Analytics providers: We use analytics tools to understand how the App is used. These tools collect anonymized usage data. • Law enforcement: We may disclose information if required by law or in response to a valid legal request. We do not share the Instagram usernames you search for or monitor with any third parties for marketing purposes.

Your data is stored on secure servers. We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your information, including encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. Story content (images and videos) from monitored profiles is stored temporarily for up to 7 days in our archive, after which it is automatically deleted.

We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you with the App's services. If you delete your account, we will delete your personal data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal or legitimate business purposes. Archived story content is automatically deleted after 7 days.

Depending on your location, you may have the following rights: • Access: Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you. • Correction: Request correction of inaccurate personal data. • Deletion: Request deletion of your personal data and account. • Portability: Request your data in a portable format. • Opt-out: Disable push notifications through your device settings. The App is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that we have collected personal data from a child under 13, we will take steps to delete that information promptly.

The App integrates with the following third-party services: • Apple App Store / Google Play Store: For app distribution and in-app purchases. • Google Sign-In: For authentication. • Google Tag Manager / Analytics: For usage analytics. • Push notification services (APNs / FCM): For delivering notifications. Each of these services has its own privacy policy governing the use of your data.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by posting a notice in the App or by email. Your continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
